Game 9: Anand’s last stand

As I type this Anand has been thinking for over 30 minutes, facing this position as White:

Anand to move before his clock runs out

Anand to move before his clock runs out

Black has a dangerous passed pawn on b3, but does White have a mating attack (Qf4, f6, etc)?

The way he played it Anand did not. Not sure if there was a forced mate but Carlsen b pawn Queened. The knight retreat lost on the spot.
Congrats is in order to the new chess World Champion who seems to be dominating the chess scene as Bobby Fischer once did.
